When my sister last visited in October, she talked me into wanting a bird feeder on our back deck. That sounds more negative than I mean it to sound, but it's kind of what happened. I never wanted one before but the more she talked about it, the more I wanted it. I'm also not saying it was a bad thing, because we've enjoyed it quite a bit. The cat has gotten a lot of entertainment out of it as well. We've had quite a few visitors to the feeder, but I think today's birds were the most interesting ones I've seen yet. Look at those spots! Spotted birds coexisting with some black bird with red splashes on its wings. I'd not seen these "red wings" before, but Ryan says they have come in packs of like 10-15 on other days.
